【摘要】:1ThispartofISO105providesgeneralinfor-mationaboutthemethodsfortestingcolourfastnessoftextilesfortheguidanceofusers.Theusesandthelimitationsofthemethodsarepointedout,severaltermsaredefined,anoutlineoftheformofthemethodsisgivenandthecontentsoftheclausesconstitutingthemethodsarediscussed.Procedurescommontoanumberofthemethodsarediscussedbriefly.2Bycolourfastnessismeanttheresistanceofthecolouroftextilestothedifferentagentstowhichthesematerialsmaybeexposedduringmanufactureandtheirsubsequentuse.Thechangeincolourandstainingofundyedadjacentfabricsareassessedasfastnessratings.Othervisiblechangesinthetextilematerialundertest,forexamplesurfaceeffects,changeinglossorshrinkage,shouldbeconsideredasseparatepropertiesandreportedassuch.Anyloosefibresfromthespecimenadheringtotheadjacentfabricsshallberemovedbeforeassessmentofstaining.3Themethodsmaybeusednotonlyforassess-ingcolourfastnessoftextilesbutalsoforassessingcolourfastnessofdyes.Whenamethodissoused,thedyeisappliedtothetextileinspecifieddepthsofcolourbystatedproceduresandthematerialisthentestedintheusualway.4Forthemostpart,individualmethodsarecon-cernedwithcolourfastnesstoasingleagent,astheagentsofinterestinaparticularcase,andtheorderofapplication,willgenerallyvary.Itisrecognizedthatexperienceandfuturedevelopmentsinpracticemayjustifyproceduresinwhichtwoormoreagentsarecombined.5Theconditionsinthetestshavebeenchosentocorrespondcloselytotreatmentsusuallyemployedinmanufactureandtoconditionsofordinaryuse.Atthesametime,theyhavebeenkeptassimpleandreproducibleaspossible.Asitcannotbehopedthatthetestswillduplicatealltheconditionsunderwhichtextilesareprocessedorused,thefastnessratingsshouldbeinterpretedaccordingtotheparticularneedsofeachuser.Theyprovide,however,acom-monbasisfortestingandreportingcolourfastness.
